Our services are available to patients in the following Southwest Florida counties: Manatee, Hardee, Highlands, Sarasota, Desoto, Charlotte, Glades, Lee, Hendry and Collier.

We are a skilled Medicare home health agency, and we provide a wide range of services that enable patients to heal from surgery, injury, or illness and live safely at home. We employ professional nurses, home health aides, and therapists who provide skilled nursing care, post-hospitalization care, speech, occupational, and physical therapy, assistance with activities of daily living, and more. We know that when care at home is needed, the need is often immediate. Ideally, we prefer to have time to perform an in-home consultation which allows us to establish a plan of care that will best meet the patient’s needs. However, we can arrange for same day care when necessary.

As a rule, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran’s Administration, and private insurance providers cover home health care services.

Yes, all of our home health aides, nurses, and therapists are insured and bonded to enhance the safety and security of our care.

Each person who expresses an interest in joining the Patients First Home Care team undergoes a thorough interview process where we assess training, certification, skill level, experience, and personality type, to ensure the individual is fully equipped to provide the highest possible level of care for clients. Upon hire, we run full background checks according to state and federal regulations, followed by an in-depth orientation training.

The quality of care we provide is essential. That is why all members of our staff receive a comprehensive orientation training to ensure that they fully understand our policies, procedures, and care practices before engaging with clients.

In order to receive home health care services from Patients First Home Care, a patient must be prescribed services by physician and have Medicare or private insurance coverage.

Yes. We have someone on call 24/7 and can help with anything needed. Simply call your local office and a member of our team will answer your call.

Yes. Our services are available to those living in nursing homes or assisted living facilities who qualify for home health care services.

We have a full staff of highly trained nurses, home health aides, and therapists and can provide a back-up care provider should your regular provider be unavailable.
